Puget Sound Road Race Association is excited to announce that our second event at the Ridge Motorsports Park, 5^th and final race for the season on October 1st,  We hope to see you all there.  (Friday Practice on Sept 30th, and the race on Oct 1st)

For this event, PSRRA is holding a drawing for those who pre-register by September 25th. The winner of the drawing will receive a free practice entry for Friday Practice.

The only catch is this – When you pre-register you must include all required information! Not only does this make your registration process much smoother it also makes the entire registration process much smoother J

Track updates include a bathroom structure, which has hot and cold water, power, showers, and changing rooms. Turn 13 has been reconfigured as well as additional curbing added to turn 13 and 14. More improvements are on the way!

Good Afternoon Racers,

PSRRA will be hosting the upcoming Gold Cup Road Race #1 of the season at The Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, WA May 29-30. We are getting very excited for this event, and there have been many improvements made to the track and facilities since last year! You can find updates on our Facebook Page, or check out their website at www.ridgemotorsportspark.com.

Practice will be Friday, and racing on Saturday. The fine folks at Turn-2-Lapping will be joining us again this year for Friday practice. This worked out really well last year, as we got to see some nice cars, and the Porsche guys were able to check out our amazing karts and fast lap times!

We will be doing the Buddy Drive at the end of racing Saturday, so please encourage your friends and family who may be interested to come out and give it a try! We have had success with hooking people in through this opportunity, with just a 15 minute drive in a kart! Help us grow the sport!

The gates will be open Thursday night until 10PM and reopen again Friday morning at 6:30AM. For those arriving after hours, there will be 24 hour security that will be able to open the gates for late arrivals.

Accommodations are available at the Little Creek Casino. They are offering “racer rates” of $85 for Thursday night, $85 for Friday night, and $101 forSaturday night.  Their website is www.little-creek.com or call 1-800-667-7711 for reservations, and mention you are with the PSRRA race at The Ridge to get the reduced rate.

As the race at the Ridge Motorsports Park is this weekend, we’ve got some schedule pointers that we wanted to make sure that all of the racers keep in mind as they move around this weekend.

1. Move In starts on Thursday evening (May 29th). Registration will be open for a few hours during that time, for those who arrive early.
2.  Gates close as 10pm each night.
3. Gates open at 6:30am on both Friday (May 30th) and Saturday (May 31st)
4. Driver’s meeting starts at 8:30am both days. You must be at the driver’s meeting to be on the track.
5. First practice starts at 9:00am sharp.

We’re all really looking forward to seeing you this weekend! It’s planning to be a really fun event!

ALL WHO PRE-REGISTER by May 27th will have a chance at winning an entry fee, which will be drawn for two lucky racers, just like last year.

This year we will do a first time road race first entry fee of 50.00 dollars. So all you beginners and sprint racers, here’s your chance to try road racing at one of the finest road courses in the Northwest. So, please spread the word.

Good Day All,

The race at the Ridge Motorsports Park is coming up fast. We will have a registration form up soon on the website.

The event is March 30th and 31st. We will have practice Friday, and a race day Saturday.

We will be able to move into the pits Thursday late afternoon/early evening. We will have registration open Thursday evening for a few hours.  Friday, we will have Turn-2-Lapping splitting the track day with us. What an awesome group! Turn-2-Lapping is a car racing group, so we will get to see some nice GT-3 Porsche’s and other makes.

We have a custom kart cover to give away, thanks to John Shearer from kartcover.com.  There will be three sets of MG Tires to be given away.

Good evening everyone,
So P.S.R.R.A is proud to announce the upcoming Round 2 of the Gold Cup Sprint Race at the P.S.G.K.A. Sprint track in Spanaway. We are trying to make this a fun, family race weekend full of good competition.

•     Thursday evening (5/1) we will have trailer move in.
•     Friday (5/2) will be registration, and all day practice.
•     Saturday (5/3) and Sunday will be two full days of racing.

At the end of Saturday, we will be having a BBQ sponsored by P.S.R.R.A. and several other clubs, vendors, and race teams. So, please feel free to bring your favorite potluck dish to share! Terry Bridges will be doing the announcing all weekend, and will be playing music after racing on Saturday night to go along with the BBQ.

We are planning activities for all ages of kids and adults. There will be gifts to give away, so you won’t want to miss that!  You must be present to win, and have fun!!!

We are planning to enter everyone’s name who registers and/or purchases a pit pass into the drawing.  Family, friends and racers can have a chance to win something! So bring family and friends out, and let people see what you do as your hobby!
